About Me!
Ashley Sampson grew up in Houston, Texas, with 9 siblings, and had to find some way to get attention that wasn’t dangerous or illegal. She was roped into acting at the age of 8 because her mother needed a little girl for a dirt budget film she was producing. Even though she was volun-told to be in the project, Ashley absolutely fell in love with acting, where even for a few hours, people were calling her name. Throughout her years, her love of acting blossomed into a love of creating characters and getting to breathe life into words on a page. When it came to college, it was a no-brainer what she would go for. She chose an on-camera program, which ended up being an acting school in Oklahoma (yeah, she was surprised, too). OCU is where she not only learned a thing or two about being in front of/behind the camera with her BFA in Acting and Minor in Digital Film and Media, but she has also gained many great friends and teachers who listen to her and have shown her how important listening is. She is excited to keep sharing her connection with others and creating stories for the world.
